As part of our growth in the region, we are currently seeking a E3D Adminsitrator to join our established office in Pune, India.
Role Summary:
The AVEVA E3D Administrator will be responsible for managing, configuring, and optimizing the E3D environment to ensure efficient 3D design execution. This role involves close collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, ensuring system integrity, and supporting users to maximize productivity and project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
User Management
- Manage user accounts, roles, permissions, and access levels
- Collaborate with discipline leads to gather requirements
- Coordinate with engineering teams to meet deliverables
- Troubleshoot and escalate technical issues
System Configuration & Setup
- Configure E3D environments, including roles and project settings
- Develop catalogues, specifications, and PML code
- Build and manage database structures for 3D modeling
- Create models aligned with project procedures
Customization & Optimization
- Customize workflows, interfaces, and reports
- Develop macros and tools to improve efficiency
- Perform model audits and data verification checks
- Configure pipe, tray, and HVAC supports
Data Management & Integration
- Manage data import/export and ensure data integrity
- Generate reports for layouts and materials
- Configure ISODRAFT and resolve isometric issues
- Update and share Navisworks review models
Training & Support
- Develop training materials and onboard users
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting
- Ensure smooth system operation and minimal downtime
Qualifications & Experience:
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent technical diploma
Experience
- Minimum 5+ years of experience as an E3D Administrator in EPCI projects
- Strong experience working with engineering applications and systems
Technical Skills
- Expertise in AVEVA E3D administration and configuration
- Experience with PML coding and customization
- Knowledge of ISODRAFT and Navisworks
- Familiarity with pipe supports and CAESAR II is a plus
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
