As part of our growth in the region, we are currently seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our established offices in Dubai, UAE.

Role Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer with a strong background in EPCM (Engineering, Procurement, Construction Management), O&M (Operations & Maintenance), and PMC (Project Management Consultancy) to support engineering and project execution activities. The candidate will be responsible for leading electrical engineering activities for High Voltage (HV) and Low Voltage (LV) systems, including design, specification, sizing, and technical coordination across all project phases from FEED through detailed engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning.
The candidate will play a key role in ensuring technical integrity, compliance with international standards, and coordination with multidisciplinary engineering teams and project stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and engineering of electrical systems (HV & LV) for Oil & Gas projects including power distribution, substations, transformers, MCCs, and switchgear.
• Prepare and review electrical engineering deliverables, including single line diagrams, load lists, cable schedules, and equipment specifications
• Provide engineering support during FEED, detailed engineering, procurement, and construction phases
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary engineering teams including mechanical, instrumentation, and process engineering.
• Review vendor documents and ensure compliance with project specifications and international standards.
• Participate in technical bid evaluations and vendor selection.
• Support commissioning and troubleshooting of electrical systems where required.
• Ensure compliance with international standards (IEC, IEEE, NEC) and project-specific technical requirements.
• Interface with clients, PMC teams, and project stakeholders to support technical discussions and engineering approvals.

Requirements:

Education

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Industrial or Electrical Engineering.

Experience

• Minimum 10 years of experience in a similar role within the Oil & Gas sector in the Middle East Area.

Technical Knowledge

• Strong background in engineering services for the Oil & Gas, Chemical, Refining, or Petrochemical sectors.
• Proven leadership experience managing electrical design teams within complex, multi-disciplinary projects.
• Advanced knowledge of relevant design software (ETAP, EPLAN, lighting design tools, etc.).
• Deep understanding of IEC and other applicable international electrical codes and standards.
• Fluent in English (spoken and written). Arabic is a plus.
