As part of our growth in the region, we are currently seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our established offices in Pune, India.

Role Summary:

You will execute electrical engineering activities, encompassing basic and detailed design, procurement, and project implementation phases. You will collaborate across multidisciplinary teams, ensuring the delivery of cutting-edge solutions while adhering to quality, cost, and timeline commitments.

Key Responbilities:

Design & Calculations

• Preparation and review of Single Line Diagrams (SLDs) and electrical design calculations for equipment such as transformers, generators, UPS systems, batteries, capacitor banks, and grounding systems. Also includes design of lighting, cable sizing, and cable routing systems.

Documentation

• Development and review of electrical load lists, drawings, and layouts (earthing, lighting, cabling, fire alarm, and communication systems), ensuring compliance with standards.

System Review

• Analysis and validation of Substation Automation Systems (SAS) and review of vendor and subcontractor technical documentation.

Procurement Support

• Preparation of material requisitions, technical evaluation of vendor offers, and participation in bid and document reviews

Coordination

• Collaboration with multidisciplinary engineering teams and participation in technical reviews and project workshops.

Cost & Field Support

• Preparation of cost estimates and quantity take-offs, along with technical support and troubleshooting during project execution.

Qualifications & Experience:

Education

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, preferably in Electrical Engineering.

Experience

• 5+ years in electrical engineering within the Oil & Gas, Chemical, Refining, or Petrochemical industries.
• Minimum 6 years as an Electrical Design Engineer.

Technical Proficiency

• Expertise in software such as ETAP, SEL, Dialux and other Lighting software.
• Comprehensive knowledge of IEC codes and industry standards.

Skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Exceptional communication and leadership skills.
• Fluent in English (verbal and written).
• Ability to foster communication within diverse cultural environments.
