As part of our growth in the region, we are currently seeking a Senior Piping Engineer to join our established offices in Pune or Gurgaon, India.

Role Summary:

The Piping Senior Engineer will be responsible over the design activities of the projects. This role involves developing technical purchase specifications, aligning with suppliers, conducting technical reviews, and ensuring compliance with applicable codes and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• To coordinate with the rest of the team, Piping Stress Engineers and 3D Administrator within Piping Engineering department. 
• To implement the applicable project job specification, standards and international codes to these designs. 
• To coordinate with the other Engineering disciplines at NOVARGI Indian branch and/or Headquarters to improve the better engineering solutions for the global project and to close any interface and task. 
• To supervise externally outsourced engineering, when applicable. 
• To participate when required the engineering meeting internally and externally with clients. 
• To support other Company departments (Procurement, Projects) in the related activities of its disciplines when required (Review of technical information of Vendor offers, development of internal technical procurement documentation, review of Vendors technical documentation, …). 

Qualifications & Experience:

Education: 

• BE Mechanical / Chemical.

Experience: 

• 12 to 15 years in EPC or Oil & Gas sector with strong exposure to piping engineering.

Technical Skills

• Expertise in E3D, PDMS, Plant 3D, and AutoCAD.
• In-depth knowledge of ASME, DIN, ISO 9000/14000, and other relevant codes.
• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
• Strong understanding of piping and valve materials.

Languages: Fluent in English and Hindi.
